NaNoWriMo — Join Trent on his excursion of insanity…

October 31, 2014 By Trent Evans

NaNoWriMo.

For those of you who read that mouthful of a neologism and go blink blink, November is National Novel Writing Month. A worldwide cabal of lunatics, egotists, and fools gets together and attempts to each write a complete 50,000 word novel in a month (or the equivalent in new words on a larger novel). Some of you, like me, sometimes meet or exceed a 50K word count for a month, so you may think this somehow doesn’t apply to you.

I used to think that way too… but there’s just something about NaNoWriMo that’s fun. You know, fun, that thing we writers used to feel glimmers of waaaayyyy back when we first put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard)? Fun — like such things as love, money, friends, and forgiveness — is something one can never have too much of. So, in that spirit, I’ve signed up for a fifth year of NaNoWriMo.

I know — I’m an idiot.

The shit-house crazy starts tomorrow, Nov 1st, so if any of you would like to join me, look me up on the NaNoWriMo site and add me as a buddy. You can search under authors for “Trent Evans”, or you can just click on my profile here.

Now…

About Trent Evans

Trent Evans is an independent author of BDSM erotic romance and erotica. Putting pen to paper since he was a wee lad, he decided to try to share some of the tales cooked up in his fevered imagination. Some readers might not be horrified. He tries to write stories that appeal to both women and men (wow, threading the needle), but will follow wherever the story takes him.

A long-time resident of the Pacific Northwest, the author believes that the high percentage of authors in the region (compared to the nation as a whole) is chiefly due to the fact that it’s so damned wet and miserable all the time there. They tend to use their long hours cooped up inside making up stories that depict things they’ll never see or experience – such as sunshine.
