New Release – “Depraved” is live

May 31, 2021 By Trent Evans

Depraved: A Dark Romance

First she will break. Then she will beg…

He must work out…

She will plead for mercy as she is punished, and beg shamefully for the climax endlessly denied to her…

This is my first published full-length novel in, gulp, over 17 months. It’s shocking for me to even write that, as going that long between publications for a writer like me is…tantamount to career suicide.

Be that as it may, that’s what happened (and truth be told, during that time I wasn’t lazing around, either; I wrote well north of a third of a million more words in that interregnum. I just didn’t publish any of them in novel form).

Though this is very much a dark erotic romance, this book has more military scifi elements than anything I’ve written thus far. But don’t let that scare you away. It’s… pretty hot and dirty, too.

I like how the story turned out, even if it took way too long for me to get it into a final form I was happy with.

And I hope you all will find it was worth the wait.

Product Description

First she will break. Then she will beg.

Breaking women like Yulia Wyndham is the reason for Jon Rexall’s existence, and bending her to his will should have been just like countless previous missions. Simply hunt her down, strip her bare, and torment her quivering body until she yields, then move on to the next target.

But as Yulia lies before him naked and bound, her throat sore from screaming and her thighs glistening with the evidence of her helpless, desperate need, Jon knows this time is different.

She will plead for mercy as she is punished and beg shamefully for the climax endlessly denied to her, but when she surrenders at last he is not just going to ravage her long, hard, and painfully.

He is going to make her his.

Forever.

Publisher’s Note: Depraved includes spankings, rough sexual scenes, intense and humiliating punishments, and strong D/s themes. If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book.

New Novel Almost Here… and an Update

January 31, 2021 By Trent Evans

To those of you wondering, no, I haven’t fallen off the face of the Earth — all evidence to the contrary.

I have been writing. Quite a bit, actually. But this has been a year of transition, and adjustment, career-wise… and it looks like said adjustment is finally settled.

So, what does that mean?

First, and most importantly, it means a new novel is almost here — a dark scifi M/f erotic romance with a strong, resilient heroine, and a tortured, conflicted hero. I think you’ll love both of these characters.

It’s currently with the editor, and with a little luck, should be published within the next month.

After that, there are several more novels to come, likely in quick succession.

As I said, I have been writing. A lot;)

What I’ve also been doing is spending quite a bit of time working on material for my Patreon community, something that’s grown larger than I’d ever imagined (and for which I’m so very, very grateful).

Patreon has become sort of my “go to” for readers who want to see what I’m up to, day-to-day. There are a wider range of fiction/kinks/pairings I’ve been experimenting with over there, some of which you won’t see in my published novels. Wanting more F/f content? More intense themes? Tropes and dynamics I haven’t done before? It’s all there.

There are now over 140 new scenes, vignettes, and short stories over on the Patreon page — a significant number of them not seen anywhere else. Those shorter works now total nearly 130,000 words at the time of this blog post.

$3/month tier gets you in to see all of that.

I’m also “writing in the open” over there, in that as I draft my indie novels, I’m posting them, chapter-by-chapter, over on Patreon. There, literally, is no way to read my books earlier than that, and it affords readers and fans a way to follow along in the creative process, and give input almost in real time. Patrons get to read my new indie stuff before it goes live on any retail platform. There are more than 53,000 words (across 28 posts) from new work-in-progress novels on the page, with more added regularly.

If you’re interested in that, $5/month is all you need to get access to it.

Finally, I’m doing Patreon-exclusive (*for the first six months, post publication) novels over there as well, including my first M/f age gap BDSM novel, Rescue Conditions.

Subscribing at either the $3, or $5 tier gets you access to the Patreon-exclusive novels.

Below, is a quick list of the novels in-progress over on my Patreon page right now:

Rescue Conditions – M/f maledom age gap (older man/younger woman), spanking, BDSM – [Patreon Exclusive*]

Conquering Cori – M/f maledom age gap (older woman/ younger man), spanking, BDSM, White Valley setting. (Both the hero, Lee, and heroine, Cori, made appearances in a rather dirty scene in the novel, Lacey’s Surrender. They get their own story here!)

Captive Cargo – M/f maledom dark scifi, BDSM, Master/slave (quasi-sequel to, Submission’s Edge)

Property of the Nocturne – M/f, MfM, F/f, F/m, maledom/lezdom/femdom dark epic fantasy/paranormal, vampires, BDSM, captivity (Book #2 in The Chronicles of Muurland series; long overdue sequel to, The Fall of Lady Westwood)

The Humbled Quean – MF/f maledom/lezdom, cuckquean, married couple + “unicorn”, contemporary

There are other fun things over there as well, including:

  • Maps – I have posted a rough map of Muurland over there for The Chronicles of Muurland readers to enjoy — and with more to come soon!)
  • Polls – Want direct input on what Trent might write next? This is where you can get your voice heard! Patrons got to choose by popular vote what the first Patreon exclusive novel would be — and age gap won, going away. Thus, Rescue Conditions was born!
  • Background/setting information – There are “gazetteer”-style entries for Muurland posted, including one about the mysterious matriarchal barbarian civilization whose home is centered deep in The Great Southern Forest, a people known only as “The Trackless.”

In the near future, there are going to be many other features, including:

Publication schedules

Vignettes

“Director’s cut” epilogues

“Too Hot for Amazon” alternate scenes

Author interviews

Series background

Author notes

I’m so excited to see what this Patreon community has become in such a short time, and I have great hopes for what it might evolve into over the next year.

In case you’re wondering, no, I have zero plans to abandon this blog, either. It is, and will continue to be, the first place people can go to learn more about my books.

The various Silicon Valley behemoths have made it plain to see that they don’t want, or like erotic fiction on their platforms. And they have made it crystal clear their belief that they know better what readers should be reading… than the readers do.

This is not hyperbole; this is what’s actually happened, surreal though it may be. I expect that problem to get much worse before it (possibly) gets better. As a result of this, I just can’t rely on social media anymore.

I won’t be missing from social media, but my presence there will be more “outposts” than anything particularly active. I’m going to instead focus my attention (and work) on the venues where I have the best chance of reaching and engaging with what’s most important to me — readers like you!

I will be concentrating my efforts on my newsletter, my Patreon page, and my blog — in that order — for the foreseeable future.

Despite the headwinds erotic fiction writers face, and the challenging (and troubling) increase in censorship we’re now contending with, I’m excited for the future of books, and of storytelling.

Great things are still to come.

I intend to be here for a long time yet, doing what I do, in the way I want to do it.

And I hope you’ll be here, too.

Update + New Venue for Trent writing

April 14, 2020 By Trent Evans

Hi All!

I’ve been a little quiet here lately, but there’s a good reason for it. I’ve been trying to brainstorm ways of giving readers more cost effective access to my work, and determined that adding a Patreon page to my overall platform made a lot of sense.

Right now, most of my published long form work is available as e-books through all major e-book retailers, while a few novels I’ve done through other publishers are largely Amazon/Kindle Unlimited exclusive.

I realized that other options were needed for:

1) People who didn’t have the money to afford the $10/month for Kindle Unlimited, nor the funds needed to purchase books individually, and

2) Readers who, for whatever reason, didn’t like/have no access to Amazon, or other e-book retailers.

My Patreon page is something I hope bridges that gap for those readers. It’s by far the most cost effective way to access Trent Evans writing (starting at $3/month!), and it has the added benefit of having limited time exclusive content regularly posted there.

On a few other venues,  I often write captions, or vignettes, or scenes, but wanted to find a way to collect that writing into one centralized place for other readers to enjoy. The $3 option allows readers to access all of that material, and it’s material that’s fairly wide-ranging, and often dirtier even than what I publish in my e-book work. If you’ve ever thought, “I wonder what Trent would do with this trope, or that kink, or that crazy fucked-up premise?” well, my Patreon page is the best place to find out:)

Future captions, vignettes, and scenes will now appear exclusively FIRST on my Patreon page, before appearing anywhere else. So, if you can’t wait to see what’s next, a $3 subscription is all you’ll need!

These new captions/vignettes will be added to my Patreon page at a clip of 4-8 new ones/month so I’m hoping readers who decide to check them out will want to stick around a while. But if not, that’s okay too:)

(For anyone wondering, never fear, I am still working on, and will publish, plenty of full-length e-books. That’s not changing at all. I am a novelist, first and foremost, and will remain so as long as people still want to read my work:)

For those of you so inclined, there is a slightly higher cost $5 option that allows you access to all of my captions, vignettes, and scenes (over 60,000 words and counting), AND also allows you to follow along with me as I post new chapters of my various novel and novella-length works-in-progress (WIP).

Some of you have asked me in the past how they could read the things I’m working on, even if it was only partials, or chapters, or scenes — the Patreon page will definitely fulfill that request!

There are over 18,000 words of WIP fiction already posted, with much more scheduled for publication in the coming weeks and months.

That’s not all, either. For paying patrons, I am also planning to post some very interesting bonus material such as:

author notes

book notes/errata

background and setting information

bonus character background

interviews, deleted scenes

Eventually, a comprehensive publication plan for my next year or two of publications will be included as well for patrons.

Lastly, for subscribers to my Patreon page, you will have the ability to directly message me whenever you’d like. I want this to be a place where people can have fun, and talk freely about the books they love (and no, that doesn’t mean it has to be just about my books!). I will answer your messages as soon as possible, and would love to hear from you!

Have requests for future books, or tropes, or genres? Questions about a character or an event or a setting in one of my books? Questions about erotic fiction writing and the publishing industry? Just send me a message:)

I’ve never done anything like this before, so I’m hoping I don’t fall flat on my face with it…

I hope my e-book readers will give my Patreon page a look, as the fiction I’m posting over there is, effectively, a significant expansion on the areas my writing usually covers, including into subjects that might not be “favored content” commercially.

I wanted to be able to do some writing where those commercial considerations (read: shackles) weren’t a factor anymore, and instead let imagination be my only guide. Some of the material on my Patreon page will surprise… and maybe even shock. Some of it just might not be for you — and that’s okay!

I’m confident though that you’ll be glad you gave it a look. As always, I’d love to hear what you think of this idea — good or bad.

Thank you so much for your support and wonderful encouragement. It means more to me than I can possibly convey.

December 25, 2019 By Trent Evans

I don’t know what’s happened to me of late… but there’s yet another sale on some of my books.

Oh wait, I know what it is. Christmas is here! 🙂

Anyway, a large portion of my book catalog will be on sale at Smashwords from Christmas (Dec 25) all the way through New Years Day. The prices have been cut anywhere from 25% to 50% off the regular list price. The discount codes will be added automatically at checkout.

I very rarely run discounts this deep, so if you want to get some of my backlist on tha cheap, then this is your time. I don’t know when — or if — such discounts will happen again.

Interested? Click that link —> Trent’s Smashwords catalog

Merry Christmas!

Another Trent Evans Sale?

November 17, 2019 By Trent Evans

Is that Bernini?

Once again, I’m displaying my top-notch marketing chops by letting my readers know about a sale… when there are less than two days left of said sale. Stellar.

(Did you pick up on my bitter self-flagellating sarcasm? Because I’m laying it on pretty thick…)

Seriously though, it’s embarrassing how bad I am at even basic marketing. I must apologize for not letting people know about this sale until the 11th hour.

Now through tomorrow, Nov 18th 2019, Kobo.com is running a 40% off sale on a ton of boxed sets. Included in that sale are both of mine, Valley of Surrender Series – Vol.1, and Dominion Trust Series – Vol.1. For anyone who hasn’t yet read either series, or just wants to complete it, this is a great chance to do it on the cheap.

How it works:

  1. Purchase the book.
  2. In the cart, at checkout, you’ll be prompted to apply the 40% discount.
  3. Devour books:)

I hope a few of you check ’em out! I don’t run sales very often — and don’t know when I’ll run the next one — so if you’re on the fence, now’s the time to hop off and pick these up:)

Enjoy!

“Mate” – A new Trent Evans dark sci-fi romance novel

June 10, 2019 By Trent Evans

It occurred to me today that I had neglected to write a blog post for my new novel. I miss blogging. Seriously.

And I want to get back into it. Soon!

But for now, I’m just going to tell you about my new book:)

I kept my mouth shut about this book for a couple of reasons. Mostly because I was afraid that if I uttered a peep about it that it might somehow derail my progress on it. I know, weird. The other reason was that I like to surprise my loyal readers:)

Mate is a dark science fiction romance stand-alone novel. There isn’t a series attached to this one, and I don’t see that changing either (never say never though…)

Uh oh, those vines…

If you like a seriously alpha alien and a strong, resourceful heroine who nonetheless can’t resist the allure of total surrender… well, you’re gonna be into this one. It’s dirty, and hot, and at times it might piss you off a little.

But it’ll be worth it, in the end.

For now, this book is exclusive to Amazon, and it’s likely to stay that way for the next 6 months or so (at least). Beyond that, it may be released wide to other retailers, but that is ultimately a decision that’s up to the publisher.

Read on for the description and a tasty little excerpt:)

Description

She was offered as a sacrifice. He took her as his mate.

The moment her ship crash-landed, Selena Marks knew she was in way over her head, and that was before the natives of this planet took her captive, stripped her bare, and brought her deep into a sacred cave to be given as a sexual sacrifice to the godlike brute whose whims they serve.

Though Selena has an idea of what is in store for her, when her captor claims her it is far more intense than anything she could have imagined. Every attempt at defiance or escape ends with her pleading for mercy as her quivering body is punished and ravaged in the most shameful ways possible, but with each helpless, screaming climax, the truth becomes harder and harder to deny.

She is his mate, and soon she will beg for him to breed her.

Publisher’s Note: Mate includes spankings and rough, intense sexual scenes. If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book.

Excerpt

As if he could read her mind, his fingertips worried her swollen clit, even as he continued his punishing thrusts within the tight clutch of her aching, and still quite sore, sex.

The burning in her ass was now far more intense than the stretching ache in her pussy.

“Please take it out! I’ll… do anything!”

Despite the discomfort of being so very full, the pleasure/pain of her pussy being stretched to its limit by his big penis held an illicit thrill that she knew she would take to her grave before admitting to her captor.

Don’t you mean your lover?

Or her owner.

“The only way I’m taking out the stone is if I replace it with my cock.” He pushed deep until she groaned loudly. “And you’ll have to beg even more this time.”

“What? I… this isn’t fair!”

He pulled out and thundered inside her again.

“Ah! God… damn!”

“Beg me, human. Beg or your little bottom is going to burn even hotter. Do you really like the pain that much?”

“No! N-never!”

His voice was very low, even as he thrust into her with harsh, quick strokes. “Then beg, slut. Beg for my cock in your bottom. Beg me to stretch you there even more than the stone is stretching you right now.”

Utterly and completely helpless, defeated, she knew there was only one way. Escape was impossible, the only deliverance in the arms of surrender.

“Please… my God… please!” Her voice seized, tears threatening again, even as the feel of his big cock battering her pussy was engendering a distressing amount of pleasure, the pain beginning to transform into something else entirely.

“Not good enough. Beg me—convince me you want me to stake that luscious bottom on my cock. Show me how much you want that pleasure, that pain.”

“Please… sir! I… need it!” Her voice was almost a rasp now. “F-fuck my ass!”

“I like this ‘sir’—you’ll continue with that. Now, say it correctly, slut.” He sank his teeth into the back of her thigh, but not enough to truly hurt. It was a mark of possession, rather than punishment. “Say: ‘please take me in my bottom, sir.’”

She thought her entire body might ignite with the force of her blushing, and yet, a surge of fresh juices let down, dripping out around his pistoning shaft, her perineum wet with it.

“P-please… take me in”—she swallowed miserably, forcing herself to finish it—“i-in my bottom, sir!”

Incredibly, instead of withdrawing, he pounded into her even harder, his fingers rubbing at her clit. She was very nearly at her climax—and it was the most tortured climax she could have imagined.

When he pinched her hot, swollen clit, she squeezed tight, crying out, clamping down upon his plunging shaft, throwing her head back, her orgasm shaking her, wringing her out, exhausting her still further.

Next Up For Trent

Work continues on Beautiful Possession, Book 4 of the Valley of Surrender series; a sequel to Submission’s Edge (working title: Captive Cargo); and Terran Captives III (title still TBD).

I’ve got another contemporary that’s been my focus for a while too. Way too many projects!!

Property of the Vampire, Book II in the Chronicles of Muurland series is coming together in draft form nicely. This is one I’m looking so forward to writing. It’s fucked up, and hot as hell. If you want to get a taste of how messed up this series is going to be, check out the first book, The Fall of Lady Westwood. You won’t be sorry.

The follow-up to What She’s Looking For remains in very early rough outline form, and it’s probably going to be on the backburner for the rest of the year. But I will continue it at some point. There is still so much to tell when it comes to the tangled story of these characters.

Finally — and it was actually suggested by another reader — a story is percolating for a trio of minor characters (the demanding Jack, his sweet wife Jessica, and Jack’s equally demanding brother) that appeared in my novel, Tamara’s Choice.

This new tale is… really, really dirty. And dark. It’s so dub-con and borderline non-con that I might have to figure out how to dial it back.

Or I may just say “fuck it” and write it as messed up as it appears to be right now. We shall see…

Until next time,

Trent

What’s Ahead for 2017 – Predictions!

January 9, 2017 By Trent Evans

In my previous post, I realize I may have conveyed a bit more of a pessimistic tone than I’d intended. I was going for realistic… but I recognize I may have missed the mark there. I’ll try not to be such a Debbie Downer with this post… but I can’t promise I’ll succeed:)

I don’t normally engage in the predictions game, but this is an industry rife with so much change that I thought I’d make a few this year just for shits & giggles. In 2018, we can come back and laugh at how many I got wrong. I’ll start with the higher confidence predictions, and end with the more… unlikely ones.

This should be interesting…

(Disclaimer: What follows are my opinions only, based on my observations of the publishing industry.)

The Year That Was – 2016

January 3, 2017 By Trent Evans

I try to keep this blog reader focused, but from time to time, I also will opine on the publishing industry as a whole. This is one of those times, so if reading my blathering about the state of publishing doesn’t sound like your idea of a party, we’ll be back to regularly scheduled programming soon:) Oh, and a warning: this blog post is long.

2016. Well, that was interesting!

So much changed during 2016, and I don’t really have the space here to go into all of it, so I’ll just hit a few highlights of the things I noted during the past year. Ready? Here goes…
